Updated May 8, 2025 at 7:32 PM EDTWASHINGTON, D.C., and LONDON — President Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday announced they had reached a trade agreement that lifted some — but not all — U.S. tariffs on British goods. Trump made the announcement sitting at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, with Starmer joining by speakerphone.
