THE Federal Government, through the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), on Saturday told Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, that threatening to leave Nigeria does not absolve it of liabilities for the outcome of a judicial process. The FCCPC disclosed this in a statement on Saturday evening following reports that Meta may be forced to shut down its services in Nigeria over escalating tension with government regulators.

A female war veteran has become Britain’s oldest skydiver after she jumped out of the plane to celebrate her 102nd birthday and went ahead to disclose that she is keen on doing the act again.
