My guest for this issue of Multiplier is Nathanael Peacock. Nathanael is a writer, writor and regular contributor at Quest Daily. You can find and follow him on Bluesky and X. Editor’s note - It’s been a few months since Nathanael and I chatted for this piece. During that time, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad was released and Game of Thrones: War for Westeros was officially announced. I’m particularly excited about the latter but naturally this meant that we didn’t have a lot to say about either.

My guest for this issue of Multiplier is Craig Ritchie, the co-founder and director of Drop Bear Bytes. The Australian studio released the post-apocalyptic CRPG Broken Roads back in 2024. You can buy the game on Steam and you can follow the studio on X. Fergus: At the time I’m writing this, Hollywood’s own awards season is in full swing and the same old usual questions get trotted out and applied to the fresh slate of films that are (or aren’t) nominated.

My guest for this issue of Multiplier is Christoffer Bodegård, the developer behind the upcoming single-player CRPG Esoteric Ebb. I’m genuinely really looking forward to playing this one once it releases so it was a delight to bounce a few emails back and forth with Bodegård as part of this year’s LudoNarracon. You can follow him on Bluesky. Fergus: Directly or not, the influence that roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons have had on Esoteric Ebb is easy to grasp.

Summerfall Studios released its debut title, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, back in 2023 and is currently crowdfunding for its next release, an occult deckbuilder named Malys.

A new report by OpenSignal has suggested that regional areas will remain a battleground for Australia’s mobile providers following the shutdown of Telstra and Optus’ 3G networks. According to the data, OpenSignal found that Australian users with the least consistent mobile service were 19% more likely to switch to another provider than those with “highly consistent” services.
