My guest for this issue of Multiplier is Christoffer Bodegård, the developer behind the upcoming single-player CRPG Esoteric Ebb. I’m genuinely really looking forward to playing this one once it releases so it was a delight to bounce a few emails back and forth with Bodegård as part of this year’s LudoNarracon. You can follow him on Bluesky. Fergus: Directly or not, the influence that roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons have had on Esoteric Ebb is easy to grasp.

My guests for this issue of Multiplier are Morgan Day and Ely Cannon. Day is an associate game director of World of Warcraft while Cannon is a senior art director at Blizzard Entertainment. I spoke to the pair in the lead up to the recent Warcraft 30th Anniversary World Tour event in Sydney. Rather than exchange emails as I usually do, what follows is an abridged and edited write-up of the conversation that I had with Day and Ely.

My guest for this issue of Multiplier is the multi-award winning journalist Alice Clarke. She’s been in the freelance game for almost twenty years and during that time her byline has appeared on both major mastheads like The Age and the ABC as well as more specialised outlets like Rolling Stone and Vogue. These days, you can find follow her work on Bluesky. Editor’s note - In the two(ish) months between Alice and I having this chat, a LOT has happened with regards to Trump.
