    It's a top of the table clash when Cork make the trip to Limerick on Sunday. Cork and Limerick have both one a game and drawn a game with scoring difference the only seperator between the two sides. The two sides have met 73 times in the championship with Cork taking 47 of those games, Limerick winning 21 and five draws. During the Allianz NHL the game ended all square 1-16 apiece in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

    It is the first weekend of the All-Ireland SFC Sam Maguire Cup series and Kerry welcome Roscommon to Killarney for their first game. The Kingdom are League and Munster champions and will face a Roscommon side who were promoted from Division two before defeating London and losing to Galway in the Connacht championship.

    Kilkenny and Dublin both have full points after their opening three rounds with Kilkenny sitting in top spot due to their scoring difference. Kilkenny have  a +45 points difference to Dublin's +7. Dublin have only beaten Kilkenny once in the last 81 years in the championship and that win came in 2013 in the Leinster semi-final replay where Dublin took their sole victory by three points. Kilkenny have lost just one of their last 12 Leinster round robin games when they went down to Wexford in 2023.

    Tipperary and Waterford go head-to-head in the Munster SHC this weekend with Tipp looking for their first win over Waterford in the championship since the 2019 Munster round robin. Tipp are currently sitting in third place on three points from three games with Waterford just a point and a place behind following their opening two rounds. It is Waterford's first road trip in this year's campaign with their first two games at home in Walsh Park.

    Leinster and Ireland captain Caelan Doris will be sidelined for four to six months following a procedure he had last Friday on a shoulder injury he picked up in their Champions Cup semi-final loss to Northampton Saints at the Aviva Stadium. James Ryan came through their URC win over Zebre Parma with no issues following his return from injury. James Culhane will be assessed further this week for an arm injury before a decision will be made on his availability.
