A paralyzed man from Georgia was arrested after an ex-girlfriend accused him of a violent home invasion, he told Atlanta News First (ANF). Charles Read was arrested by the police in College Park, Georgia, after Katherine Jensen told police in June 2024 that Read invaded her residence and choked her, then ran away, according to a complaint obtained by the outlet. Read told ANF he and Jensen dated at one point but hadn’t been in contact for 20 years.

A Texas mother and stepfather pleaded guilty in to forcibly tattooing two children back in 2023, KTRE reported. Police arrested Megan Farr and Gunner in April 2023 for tattooing their children, ages 9 and five, according to an affidavit obtained by KTRE. One child was tattooed on their foot while the other got a tattoo on their shoulder. Meagan was charged with unlawful restraint and two counts of injury of a child.

A New Jersey politician was arrested among members of the high-ranking Lucchese crime family in an alleged gambling ring, officials said Friday. New Jersey Attorney General (AG) Matthew Platkin said 39 people have been charged after a two-year-long investigation into a gambling ring, including Prospect Park Councilman Anand Shah and known members of the Lucchese organized crime family.
