Digital inhalers can help patients and healthcare professionals identify poor maintenance medication adherence in patients with asthma. Digihaler integrated inhalers transmit data wirelessly to a smart phone application (App), which allows for inhaler usage tracking. The App includes a voluntary, non-respiratory-specific, daily self-assessment (DSA).
