Dallas police are investigating a shooting that took place near the intersection of Live Oak Street and Cantegral Street about 8:45 a.m. Thursday, leaving one person dead and two in custody. The preliminary investigation determined that two suspects shot a male victim, who died at the scene near downtown Dallas. The suspects are in custody, Dallas police said in an emailed statement.
