Information on the sex, age (x = 46.6 ± 8.4), and anthropometric parameters of the 16 females affected by AIP is presented in Table 1. The mean weight was 62.4 ± 14.1 kg, and the mean height was 161.6 ± 6.2 cm. The BMI showed that 50% of the patients were overweight (BMI 25–29.99) (Fig. 1A). These values exceeded the national average for Italian patients, as reported in Supplementary Table S1 from the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT).
