DiscussionAlthough most studies on epilepsy and psychological variables have gathered information from parents and teachers, an interesting aspect of our work was to focus on the patient’s point of view. As a general result, our data showed that adolescents with epilepsy have a high rate of neuropsychiatric disturbances (55.2%, 32/58), in accordance with the literature [20,21].
