A major horse racing shock happened on Good Friday as 200-1 outsider Heavenly Heather won at Newcastle. The filly, trained by Tracey Waggott at her stables near Durham, is the joint longest-priced winner in British Flat racing history. Heavenly Heather, ridden by Amie Waugh, landed the Fillies and Mares Championships Handicap on All Weather Finals Day. The horse had been beaten in all her previous five starts. "We always knew she was a really good horse," Waggott said.
