Vice President Kamala Harris raised about $1.65 billion in direct donations and contributions from political action committees by October, according to OpenSecrets, a research group that tracks money in politics, against Trump’s $1.09 billion; in other words, she lost the race despite significantly outspending Trump.

Approximately 120 people gathered in front of the central laws courts of Malta to hold a vigil in memory of Daphne Caruana Galizia. It was the evening of April 16, and every month, on the 16th, a similar vigil is held. The message: We dare never forget Daphne’s courage and heroism. “Justice for Daphne” is the slogan that abounds in the square. One speaker after another at the vigil asserted that the fight for justice continues. It was on October 16, 2017, that Daphne was blown to pieces in her car.
