NewsCounter Terrorism Police are carrying out enquiries after a man was stabbed at a hotel in Hindlip, near Worcester on Tuesday. Police were called to the Pear Tree Inn at around 1.30 pm on Tuesday after a 25-year-old man was attacked. He was taken to hospital with a chest and hand wound. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and he is currently in a stable condition.

NewsDetectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) have arrested two people following searches in the north Belfast area on Thursday 29th February. The searches, at three properties, were part of an investigation into criminality linked to the West Belfast UDA. The searches found quantities of suspected Class A, B and C controlled drugs, along with cash and mobile phones. The items were seized and taken away for further forensic examination.

James Phillips is also charged with assaulting an emergency services worker (police officer). The 46-year-old will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 7 February.
