Hopefully there is something for everyone among the 11 names tabbed for consideration this week. Managers are encouraged to consider grabbing multiple players who work primarily in a platoon role. And there are also a couple players, Addison Barger and Eury Pérez, who could be major difference-makers this summer.

On both the hitting and pitching side, there are plenty of great streamers for the weekend. The Mets should score many runs in Colorado, and several of their regulars are widely available. The Rangers and Mariners can also chip in plenty of great streamer options. There are several starting pitchers to stream, and I would feel comfortable deploying the top five hurlers on the list in any league, led by Michael Wacha.

With the calendar having flipped over to June, many fantasy baseball managers of middling teams are starting to run out of patience. The quality of the two-start pitcher list has been perfectly alternating between good and bad weeks, and unfortunately we are on a downward trend this week. This isn’t the worst week to this point of the season, but once we get past the top two options, the remaining hurlers have more bust potential than most managers will be comfortable with. On the hitting side, this is a great time to grab available players on the Tigers and Twins.

I’m happy to pinch hit on this week’s fantasy baseball waiver wire column, as recommending players for pickup is one of my favorite parts of this job. And since I rarely get a chance to recommend pickups, I’m going to make the names plentiful and the explanations brief. Hopefully there is something for everyone. Enjoy.

There are several pitchers who have gone from lineup locks to possible waiver wire fodder. I took a deep dive with ⁦@Jeff_Erickson⁩ on the ⁦@RotoWireMLB⁩ podcast. https://t.co/n9nLBQefqM
