A schoolgirl was drugged and repeatedly raped by three men who lured her into their car with the promise of a cigarette after spotting her alone in an Asda car park, a court heard. Ivan Turtak, 38, Kevin Horvath, 25, and Ernest Gunar, 27, allegedly passed the child around 'like a receptacle' as they subjected her to vile sexual abuse. Canterbury Crown Court heard the men were 'complete strangers' to the girl who was 'targeted and exploited'.

JK Rowling's barrister friend is suing the vets' practice who banned her over 'rude' and 'unacceptable' behaviour for £25,000 as she claims the real reason is over her gender critical beliefs. Criminal defence lawyer Allison Bailey was 'expelled' from the client register of Palmerston Veterinary Group's practice in Walthamstow, east London, in January 2023 after complaints about her 'vile' behaviour. One staffer previously claimed 'she has never had to deal with such a rude client ever'.

A young girl has been taken to hospital after she was attacked by an XL Bully-type dog outside a shop. The incident happened in the Trebanog area of the Rhondda Valley, south Wales, on April 7. The victim was rushed to hospital after sustaining three puncture wounds during the attack. It is understood the injuries were not life threatening and she is now recovering at home. Police are yet to validate the claim the dog was an XL Bully but it has since been destroyed.

The distressing incident saw what appears to be a loose German Shepherd lock its jaw onto a much smaller white dog before turning on a tiny black dog on Sunday in Roe Green Park, Brent, northwest London.
