Fumiko Chino, MD, FASCO I was a bit surprised by how often peer review was changing plans, with about the 10% or more considered “major” plan changes. My bias is in my experience. I’ve always treated at large academic cancer centers with deep organ expertise. In that situation, radiation plans are very specialized. Physicians are very familiar with the literature and the changes of technology. Our peer review process is quite rigorous, but we rarely have major changes.
