WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - After reaching the lower 70s Thursday, a dry high pressure ridge will nurture a warmup with your First Alert Forecast targeting temperatures around 80 Friday, and over 80 - especially on the mainland - for Easter weekend. Thus far, 2025 has not necessarily been one of celebration and good cheer for investors in many of the large technology firms. Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) is no exception. So far, 2025 has been a wake-up call for Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) investors. The broader market environment hasn’t done GOOGL any favors. Jittery sentiment, stoked by a relentless stream of tariff headlines and geopolitical twists, has investors on edge – with each new announcement seemingly sparking bull and bear runs on a weekly basis.

It has been a tough couple of weeks for AppLovin (NASDAQ:APP) investors. The stock has been dropping, pushed downwards by criticism from a number of short-sellers that the mobile technology firm has engaged in deceptive practices. More recently, over the past week a number of analyst firms have also lowered their price targets for APP, though interestingly none of these were accompanied by a ratings downgrade.
