As of April 25, several Montreal restaurants, cafés, and bars have been hit with health inspection fines from the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation au Québec (MAPAQ) for reasons including sanitation issues, staff hygiene, food quality as well as preparation and processing standards. Following its inspection of three Couche-Tard locations across Montreal, the MAPAQ penalized the convenience stores with a collective $10,500 health inspection fine.
