"Fortune's Run" is an amazing indie PC game inspired by classic first-person shooters like "Doom" and "Quake." The game has an intriguing sci-fi setting, retro visuals, and a deep RPG-inspired combat system that can take hours of practice to truly master. Fans have been loving this early access title for a while, but the game's most recent update is likely to be its last — at least for a long while.

Nintendo dropped a trailer showing off the design of the new console and Joy-Cons, but the showcase was pretty light on specific details. Aside from the general design of the new system, we got a peek at a new "Mario Kart" game and another reassurance that Switch 2 will be backwards compatible with the original system — kind of.
