Despite being around for 104 years or so, there's never been a proper sequel to any proper Nosferatu film (I'm not getting into all the weird, little stuff that's been made over the years). This despite the huge number of versions of Dracula. Now that it's a qualified hit at the box office after establishing a strong world and vision, you sort of have to wonder if it would be possible to make a sequel, prequel, or any kind of spin off from the 2024 version by Robert Eggers.

Ghostbuster, The Fall Guy, Furiosa, etc., etc., etc., etc. all underperformed. Generally, it's not good out there with hard numbers proving people just aren't going to theaters the way the did even last year. You're probably part of that (I know I am!). I don't go because I just don't have time. What's your reason? Bad movies? No time? Rather stream? Scared of dark spaces?

They showed us Bertolucci's Romeo and Juliet and, man, they probably shouldn't have — underage sex and nudity on screen. I mean, great adaptation, but in retrospect a wildly bad decision. Bet most kids these days see Luhrmann's version (if they see any version at all). You got any winners?

What was your favorite cancelled TV show? One of the worst parts of being a TV fan is the fact that your favorite TV show will inevitably get cancelled. To this day, I still mourn the loss of the vampire romance Moonlight. What cancelled TV show was your favorite? I know a lot of people loved Selfie, Firefly, and even Pushing Daisies!Antony Starr thinks Homelander would beat Superman but who would actually win? It's Superman.

I guess I’ll use my - very likely - last post on “X The Everything Explicitly Nazi App”™️ to give big ups to Garth Hudson, the keyboardist for The Band who died today, inspired me greatly, and no longer has to deal with the bullshit we see here.

Hey all — I don't post much on this cursed app, but two of my very lovely friends have lost in the California fires — and they only JUST got there. Please spare anything you can to help them. https://t.co/rekqzetGhs

Look, not getting too deep into the various messes everywhere and very much not a historian of gynecology, but I'm fairly certain women weren't having their first periods at the age of 19 a century ago. Could be wrong.

RFK Jr, going on and on here about puberty for American girls, isn't gonna help Trump beat the weirdness charges https://t.co/err1vpSRSj
