The region will double for WWII-era Belgium, and filming will also take place at NantStudios’ LED volume at Docklands Studios Melbourne, and on location in South Gippsland. The survival thriller stars A Quiet Place's Noah Jupe, Army Of Thieves'Matthias Schweighöfer, Shadow And Bone's Patrick Gibson and and Dark's Andreas Pietschmann.

    Sky has revealed the first look at Niamh Algar and Tom Hollander in The Iris Affair, written, created and showrun by Neil Cross, creator of Luther. Algar stars as Iris Nixon and Hollander as Cameron Beck in the eight-part series, directed by Terry McDonough whose credits include Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and Sarah O’Gorman, of A Gentleman in Moscow and The Witcher.

    Pinewood Group has appointed Lisa Firetto as general manager of the Pinewood Studios site in Buckinghamshire, taking over the role from current general manager, James Rider, in July 2025. Firetto started working for Pinewood in 2007 and has gained a wealth of experience at both of Pinewood Group’s studio sites in the UK, Pinewood and Shepperton Studios.

    The TV Access Project (TAP) and ScreenSkills have launched an  Employment Resources hub to support deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent talent - and allies - navigate a career through the screen industries, understand their employment rights, and facilitate conversations about access. The hub was created in response to feedback in TAP focus groups from disabled freelancers about a lack of clarity over legal rights, how to ask for them, and support resources that are available.

    JK Simmons has been announced to star in showrunner Chris Brancato's crime drama The Westies which starts production in July, doubling Toronto, Canada for New York City,  Brancato co-created the series with Michael Panes under his overall television deal with MGM+ and will also executive produce and serve as showrunner. The Westies follows New York City’s Irish gang of the same name and is set in in the 1980s during the construction of the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in Hell’s Kitchen.
