Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an explosion aboard a vessel at the Lauderdale Marina just before 6 p.m. They arrived to find a significant fire on one vessel that quickly spread to a second. Five people were transported to nearby hospitals, three with traumatic injuries, officials said.
