    Since launching in 2020, the Brooklyn creative studio Wenjüe Lu has released limited collections of clothes, soft sculptures and installations with the aim of promoting “longevity, sustainability and individuality,” says co-founder Chufeng Fang. Its garments are made from undyed cotton and linen, and the studio offers a mending service for customers to encourage lifelong ownership.

    My morning routine is how I set myself up for the day. I splash my face with water and will often use Oskia’s Super C Beauty Capsules. I’m a big fan of Augustinus Bader’s The Light Cream and then Merit’s Great Skin Instant Glow Serum, which is very subtle. I’m really into their makeup: they have this Bronze Balm in a stick and blushers that come in little jars that are easy to swipe on. I use RMS UnCoverup Concealer and Supergoop Glowscreen SPF 40.

    DiotimaThe designer Rachel Scott’s focus on tailoring and craft — in particular, crochet made in her native Jamaica — has been clear since she launched her brand, Diotima, in 2021. But it wasn’t until she held her first presentation, at a gallery in New York’s Chelsea neighbourhood earlier this month, that fashion week attendees were able to observe the line’s detailing up close: Models traversed the room in intricate bead vests and floor-length gowns made from delicate, netlike cotton fabrics.
