Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings to share upcoming book releases that we’re excited about! This meme is based on Waiting on Wednesday, which was created and hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This is another exciting standalone from Gareth Brown, who wrote The Book of Doors – one of my favorite books from 2024. This time the focus is on magical artifacts rather than books, but it sounds quite similar in it’s overall theme and tone.

In late 2017, there weren't many buyers of Blancco Technology Group (LON: BLTG). The CEO had just been fired, the company had overstated its revenue figures, its financial reports were delayed, and the share price had fallen over 80% in a matter of months. It's understandable why most investors were running for the exits. But we took a different approach. The eventual investment we made in Blancco became one of the Fund's most successful in its 11-year history before it was eventually taken private.

The Book of Doors by Gareth BrownI thought I was going to be so caught up on my February release reads, but here I am behind! I’m hoping to finish up The Book of Doors so I can have it reviewed next week. This sounds like a really cool portal fantasy. Fated by Benedict JackaAfter I checked out An Inheritance of Magic last year, I knew I wanted to pick up Jacka’s Alex Verus series. I need more urban fantasy in my life and this seems like it’s going to be really fun and I love the narration!
