I’ve seen it time and again — people clinging to their emergency funds like a security blanket while their financial future slowly erodes. This conventional wisdom about keeping large sums of cash in savings accounts isn’t just outdated – it’s actively preventing your wealth from growing. Let me be clear: your emergency fund is silently robbing your future.Consider this scenario: You have $50,000 in a savings account marketed as a “high-yield” account.

Retirement is one of the most profitable lies ever told. It’s not freedom—it’s a delayed life sentence and planned bankruptcy. The worst part? While you save and sacrifice for this end goal, Wall Street profits off the back of your hard work. Your 401(k)? They charge you tons of hidden fees. Legal fees, admin fees, 12b-1 fees (which are marketing fees), and plenty more. You might know about expense ratios, but what about all those other hidden costs eating away at your nest egg?

When it comes to mortgage strategies, conventional wisdom often misleads people. Dave Ramsey advises millions of Americans to pay off their mortgages early, but I’ve built my career helping people understand why this approach can actually harm their wealth. It’s why Robert Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” endorses my financial philosophy instead of Dave’s.The wealthy consistently do the opposite of what financial gurus like Ramsey recommend.

If you think you have a money problem, I’m here to tell you that it’s never actually a money problem. After decades of helping people build wealth and becoming a multimillionaire by age 26, I’ve discovered that the real game is about value creation. Here’s something that might surprise you: it’s actually harder to get to $100,000 than it is to go from $100,000 to $1 million.

An educational and uplifting foundation in financial mindsets and rules of thumb. A walking, talking billfold of cash takes readers through the ins and outs of money. Held together by a shiny gold clip and often accompanied by anthropomorphic coins, our narrator is a smiley, positive presence who eats pizza and rides a bike, just like us! Money explains its value as well as how to earn it (mowing lawns, selling lemonade), spend it, save it, and share it.

What is money, really? It’s just a thing we made up. A man-made tool of efficiency, invented so we wouldn’t be stuck bartering. “6 pumpkins for a goat?” No?  “I’ll trade you one of my kids for that cow”. Seems fair. Money is a way to exchange value, as well as to store value.
