REVIEW – A few weeks ago, on March 29, 2025, we published my review of the best robot vac/mop I ever tested – the DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI robot vacuum and mop from Ecovacs. You can imagine my surprise when I got an offer to review the brand-spanking new DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI a few weeks later. The X8 was so good, what could possibly be better? It turns out that the wizards at Ecovacs were already at the drawing board, tweaking navigation, improving suction, and making other incremental improvements.

REVIEW – If you’ve read my other reviews, you know that we vacuum regularly. I’ve tested any number of robot vacuums/mops with varying results. Those work great on floors but other things, like mattresses, need cleaning too. We’ve taken our Dyson stick vacuum and cleaned our mattresses but when the opportunity to test a dedicated mattress vacuum came up, I thought it would be worth a shot. Today, we’re looking at the Jimmy BX7 Pro Max.

REVIEW – The older I get, the more things hurt. From time to time, my feet fall onto that list. Anything that could make them feel better is a good thing, and the SL-527 Foot Massager with Heat from Snailax is supposed to fit that bill. I had good luck with a couple of knee massagers from Snailax (see the links at the bottom), so I decided to give this foot massager a go.

NEWS – No, this isn’t a veiled reference to Rocky Horror. The Dali Timewarp watch from Soulario is an homage to Salvador Dalí’s “The Persistence of Memory” – the famous painting with a melting clock. The watch channels the famous painting with a case that is warped and twisted in a seemingly impossible way. The watch itself is unremarkable with a basic quartz movement and stainless steel construction.

REVIEW – I have reviewed a slew of robot vacuums and vac/mops. Every generation seems to get a little bit better, but overall, the design remains the same, albeit with a tweak here and there. Today, we’re looking at an entirely new generation of robot vac/mop that abandons the traditional rotating mopping plates in favor of a cylindrical roller mop, and it is changing the robot vac/mop game. Let’s dig into the Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI and see if this robot evolution cleans up.

REVIEW – I like to golf. I enjoy traveling. But…golfing when traveling? A pain. Why? Ecovacs just announced their new flagship X8 PRO OMNI robotic vacuum and mop. Why? What could possibly be better? As it turns out, a lot!The X8 keeps the newer and smaller form factor, similar to the DEEBOT N30 OMNI I recently tested.

The other thing they do is keep getting more expensive. The Ecovacs DEEBOT X2 OMNI that I reviewed about eight months ago lists for around $1,500 before any applicable discounts. Lots of folks out there are intrigued by robot vacuums/mops but popping for a grand-and-a-half just isn’t in the cards.
