Production on DC Studios’ “Supergirl” film is continuing in the UK right now and what appears to be photos and a video have emerged from the set. Milly Alcock takes on the title role in the film and her (or her stunt double/stand-in) can be seen in the photos and video atop an alien tank. They show her in a comic-accurate costume complete with a blue top, gold belt, red skirt and red knee-high boots.

The U.S. price of Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to remain at $450, assuming President Donald Trump’s global tariff plans remain at 10% (excluding China), according to Bernstein analyst Robin Zhu at Bloomberg. Most of Nintendo‘s imports into the U.S. come from Vietnam and Cambodia, with Trump initially deciding to apply a 46% tariff on Vietnam and a 49% tariff on Cambodia. That’s why last week Nintendo delayed Switch 2 pre-orders in the US (and later Canada) to assess market conditions.

A new feature piece on Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” has gone online over at EW, showcasing new photos from the film along with sharing some new details including slight changes to these versions of familiar characters. One change will be Johnny Storm who won’t be like the uncaring, skirt-chasing womaniser that Chris Evans played in the 2005 film. The reviews are in for Ryan Coogler’s supernatural action horror tale “Sinners” and the scores are astonishing. With 37 reviews counted, the film stands at a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with a very high average rating of 8.9/10. Over on Metacritic it sits at an 83/100, that makes it the second best score for a wide release film this year behind only Soderbergh’s “Black Bag” (85/100). The R-rated 138-minute film is set in the 1930s in the U.S. Southern states. Michael B.

Highest 2 LowestFilmmaker Spike Lee has himself confirmed that his new film “Highest 2 Lowest” will be premiering at Cannes next month. The news came less than two hours after the announcement of this year’s Cannes Film Festival line-up and Lee’s film was notably absent. Denzel Washington stars in this reimagining of Kurosawa’s 1963 crime thriller “High and Low”. The original follows a wealthy man forced to choose between achieving a personal ambition or saving the life of a kidnapped child.
