by Gary KennedyWell, Halloween has come and gone. Julie and I went to a friend’s house to share with them and to see all the adorable children in their costumes. Our friends give the Cadillac of candies and the children are aware of that. We are always assured of family and friends, which is another plus. We share a great meal which we all participate in its preparation. So for us it is just another time for bonding. V.A. wasn’t as friendly as they were in years past.

by Gary KennedyPurple is such a magnificent color. I have a wall that is a shade of purple. It’s been pleasing to my eyes for more than 35 years. It has never seemed to fade, although, I am sure it won’t last forever. However, I can’t seem to imagine any other color that is more pleasing. The purple that I refer to is my purple wallpaper. Just through my bow window are many bird feeders which are always inhabited by many known species of birds.
