The Bury St Edmunds-based brewer is launching Back of the Net Pale Ale in time for the UEFA European Women’s Championship and reintroducing its Amplified Pale Ale cask beer as part of a partnership with a radio station. In January, the average price crashed through the £5 ceiling to reach £5.08 having been under £5 in 2024 – but the average price now is £5.17 a pint, according to data, which comes from The MA Pint Price Survey. The exclusive research from The Morning Advertiser means the average price of a pint – as submitted by licensees across England, Wales and Scotland – is a staggering 34p higher than the findings of the Office of National Statistics in its latest data, dating back to February 2025.
