    The Norfolk brewer’s tipple was crowned Champion Mild Ale of Britain in 1993-94 and will undoubtedly be a welcome return for many. Woodforde’s said the 3.2% ABV dark mild ale is “steeped in Norfolk heritage, rich in flavour and crafted to spark great conversation”. It described the beer as being brewed with a “complex blend” of chocolate malt, oats, wheat and a “delicate touch” of British hops.

Concerns have been raised that UK chicken producers, who have been unable to expand operations due to restrictive planning laws, will be unable to meet demand. This is due, in part, to higher welfare standards, which means that lower number of birds are being kept in barns.
