How can the Clark County School District train future leaders when its administration can’t do the same? The mark of many successful organizations is training and promotion from within. This fosters an attitude that if you work hard and succeed, your reward can be upward mobility in the organization. My greatest success before retiring was that my employees were ready to step into supervisory roles and continue operations without me.

While the makeup is mixed, the absence of the defendant, his legal representation, or a judge or monitor, tilt the ball to one side. A prosecutor can lead a grand jury down a dark alley and persuade them it’s lined with candy and unicorns.

If there is one thing politicians are good at, it’s convincing people that you can pick up feces by the clean end and not get dirty. The rehearsed narrative from Clark County commissioners would make a literary scholar blush. In accepting over $10,000 in “educational” tickets to the Formula One race, these dedicated civil servants now have a better understanding of how to woo over the populace for next year’s event fiasco.

Oct. 2—LA Metro's enhanced response during the six August days of Taylor Swift concerts at SoFi Stadium is being examined as a test for a much bigger event — the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. During the pop singer's concerts from Aug. 3 through Aug 9, a rollout of shuttles, more frequent city buses and late-night rail lines running until 2 a.m. resulted in a 25% overall increase in ridership, Metro reported.
