Each week, IHSA coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the PBR Illinois Player of the Week and PBR Illinois Pitcher of the Week honors. Yesterday, we awarded the Week 9 Player of the Week honor to 1B Jackson Stanek (St. Rita, 2024; Southwestern Illinois JC) and the Pitcher of the Week honor to RHP Ethan Bagwell (Collinsville, 2024; Missouri). Stanek had an impressive week, finishing 6-for-10 with two home runs, 11 RBIs, six runs scored and four walks.
