Stick tap to Cory and Zach for having me on to talk puck.

.@gjspittle joined @inthemageors and @ZachWolchuk to run through the three coaching candidates who intrigue him the most to be the Stars' next HC. Plus, he weighs in on Matt Duchene re-upping with the Stars, other potential moves, & more. Listen to the discussion below. ⤵️ https://t.co/FHDJPu2oVg

Great point by Andrew on Suter. With Suter and Bonus carryover, the Stars have 1.8 million in dead cap this season. It adds up.

@gjspittle Exactly, we have to weigh the pros and cons of buying the players out. I dont like the idea of having buyout figures on the books as they will add up and hurt us in future years. We do have 1.4 million on the books for Ryan Suter in 25-26.

Many of you have been asking about buying out both Matt Dumba and Ilya Lyubushkin. Here's the math. 4.72M is freed up this season, however added to the books in 26-27 is 3.11M, 958k in 27-28 and 958k and 28-29. You are also without two D-men for depth. #texashockey
