Written by James May and directed by Colin Morley, this play is well worth attending. James May has had short plays produced in Melbourne and Sydney at events such as Short & Sweet and the Mardi Gras festival. He is well-published in the LGBTIQ media. In The Ghetto is his first feature-length play about Melbourne’s ‘queer underground’. Volatile relationships, bitchiness, addiction, mental health issues, financial stress, aggression, hilarious at times, with an explosive climax.
