The boys placed fifth with 65.5 points, earning several state-qualifying spots along the way. Mandan, Bismarck Century, Bismarck High and Watford City finished ahead of the DHS boys, while the girls edged Mandan by just six points.

    DICKINSON — More and more athletes are joining Dickinson State University teams across multiple sports — on the court, track and field, and even the diamond. Grant County/Mott-Regent standout Samantha Greff could be the latest to do it all. Greff earned a scholarship to play basketball at DSU but is also excelling in track and field, and she’s keeping that door open for her collegiate career. Greff played a key role in the Jaguars’ recent run to the North Dakota Class B State Basketball Tournament.

    DICKINSON — Heart River is currently dominating the Class B diamond, so Handsome Rob & Gaylon asked Cougar head softball coach Emily Henson and catcher Abby Conery if they could join them — and bring along head baseball coach Kurt Silbernagel while they were at it. The three break down the very successful seasons for Heart River sports as the playoffs are just around the corner for both teams.
