[mc4wp_form id=33047] President Bola Tinubu has recounted how the Naira redesign policy introduced by the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele a few weeks to the 2023 general election almost forced him to withdraw from the presidential race. Emefiele said at the time that the Naira redesign was meant to curb vote buying and the use of money by politicians to influence elections.
