What does this paper contribute to the wider global clinical community? ○ Global sight loss is increasingly prevalent in the older population but is largely unacknowledged in non-orthoptic healthcare settings with negative implications for care giving, quality of life, and older people's wellbeing. ○ Working with vision impaired people in developing co-productive research methods can promote novel approaches to sharing their stories in ways which are impactful, inclusive, and empowering.
