With the increasing popularity of the online Pokemon TCG, the Pokemon brand continues to surge forward in all media and make competitive play more accessible to anyone who’s ever wanted to try it out. Overall, it’s a great card game. Each trainer has one active Pokemon at a time to battle with and a maximum of five Pokemon ready to go on the bench. Expansions introduce new cards, moves, and regions into the TCG scene.

Sonia, a fan-favorite character in Pokemon Sword & Shield, is a fantastic character and essentially Galar's resident Pokemon Professor. If we created her own Pokemon team, it would include options based on game lore and Sonia's confirmed interests. Even though Sonia wouldn't be too involved in competitive battling, we did include a few heavy hitters for more intense battles.

Persona 5 Royal came out relatively quickly after the original Persona 5 leading to tons of questions from fans. In that sense, it has more in common with the enhanced Persona 3 version 'FES' than the four-year-wait for Persona 4 Golden. Persona 5 Royal didn’t have nearly as much time as P4G, but it has so many fundamental differences that make it feel just as significant an upgrade as these other releases.

The Palace Bosses of Persona 5 are some of the most difficult in the entireseries. The manifestation of villainous and malicious adults, each palace boss has their own set of strengths that are hard to prepare for, and nearly all of them go through multiple stages with different powers and resistances. Thankfully, most of them have certain vulnerabilities that can make these opponents a walk in the park in the form of damage weaknesses and habits to their attack that players can easily counter.

The Pokemon series has always had its debates about what constitutes a strong Pokemon. Many fans will find success with their classic Charizard in Pokemon Red & Blue and a wave of diverse damage attacks, but competitive battlers can use others like Ferrothorn with strange stats and moves to be just as powerful. Either way, it’s clear there’s a huge amount of diversity in terms of what makes a Pokemon strong. On the other end of things, recognizing the weakest Pokemon ever is astonishingly easier.
