    When the women’s North American championship was relinquished by Stephanie Vaquer, NXT General Manager Ava decided the best way to crown a new champion would be a ladder match at the upcoming Stand & Deliver premium live event scheduled for April 19, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. That meant qualifying matches. They’ve been underway for a number of weeks, with Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, and Izzi Dame all punching their tickets. Now, the final two names are official.

    This week’s episode of NXT television represented the last stop for the developmental brand on its way to Stand & Deliver this weekend in Las Vegas. The biggest show of the year will feature title matches up and down the card, with two more going official on this week’s show. First, Ethan Page managed to outlast Lexis King, Wes Lee, and Eddy Thorpe in a frantic Fatal 4-Way filled with back-and-forth action on all sides.

    I wasn’t the only one on staff here who wasn’t all that impressed by the effort WWE put forth with its Monday Night Raw go home show to WrestleMania 41 from Sacramento this week. There just wasn’t much to it, at least not in the way of a strong closing setup for most of the matches at the big show. Having said that, my favorite part of the evening came just after AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross in singles action and Logan Paul decided to show up to get his pound of flesh.
