With their season on the brink, the Indiana Pacers (2-3) could be without PG Tyrese Haliburton when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder (3-2) for Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals. Haliburton went to the locker room with a calf injury in Game 5, and eventually returned, but is a game-time decision Thursday with a calf strain. He is saying the right things, telling reporters, "I want to be out there. That’s the plan." However, the calf injury clearly affected him in Game 5.

After a grueling, but thrilling U.S. Open, the PGA TOUR tries to keep the momentum with its final "signature event" of the season: 2025 Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Regarding difficulty, the Travelers is the complete opposite of the U.S. Open, where only the winner, J.J. Spaun, shot under-par. Oakmont Country Club, host of the 2025 U.S. Open, is among the toughest courses in the world, while golfers need to "go low" to win at TPC River Highlands.

Since professional athletes' podcasts suck, I'd assume their wives' podcasts are even worse. No offense to moms out there, but I cannot imagine an athlete's wife saying anything that would blow my jock/regular dude brain. It's probably just rich housewives discussing their champagne problems and how annoying their children are. But, Kelly Stafford, Los Angeles Rams QB Matt's wife, who's been known to drop some hot takes, said something interesting on her The Morning After podcast recently.

Yet, three-time MVP Shohei Ohtani takes the mound for the first time since 2023 in the San Diego Padres (39-31) at Los Angeles Dodgers (43-29) series opener at 10:10 p.m. ET Monday is "must-see" TV. This is Shohei's first start for the Dodgers. Ohtani is the undisputed greatest baseball player ever if he pitches and hits. Shohei had a 38-19 record for the Los Angeles Angels from 2018-23.

The Oklahoma City Thunder gave the Indiana Pacers a taste of their own medicine in Game 4 to even the 2025 NBA Finals at 2-2 on Friday. Down 10 points late in the third quarter, OKC shut down Indy's offense, and NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 15 of his 35 points in the final five minutes, willing the Thunder to a 111-104 Game 4 win. Remember, the Pacers have won several games down double digits in the second half in these playoffs, including the series opener of the NBA Finals.
