The UFC goes north of the border Saturday for UFC 315 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Things got tense during the event's media day earlier this week when American Charles Radtke said "When yโ€™all boo the [U.S.] national anthem, someone's going to have to pay for that" to hype his fight with Canadian Mike Malott. However, that's the main event of UFC 315's prelims, and I'm only gambling on three main-card fights, starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Well, it was fun winning in the 2025 NBA Playoffswhile it lasted. An 11-3 run, including a four-game winning streak earlier this week, was ruined by an active four-game losing skid. My "best bets" Friday were ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ. The Indiana Pacers got stomped by the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Oklahoma City Thunder lost outright as -5.5 favorites to the Denver Nuggets. However, the only way to end a losing streak is to keep firing (responsibly, of course), which is what I plan to do.

As per tradition, I jinxed myself Wednesday when mentioning my 2025 NBA playoff betting heater. Plus, I have a "Wednesday basketball curse," that's plagued me all season. Whenever I play in my Wednesday pick-up basketball sessions, I lose whatever bets I make. I don't have an explanation, it's just a pattern I've noticed. Nevertheless, I'm getting back on the hardwood Friday in the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Honestly, I don't have anything else planned Friday except for gambling on basketball.

Even after losing Steph Curryto a hamstring injury in the second quarter, the Golden State Warriors still trounced the Minnesota Timberwolves 99-88 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals in the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Because Curry will be out for at least a week, the T-Wolves are bigger favorites to win this series despite losing Game 1 than pre-series. Tip-off for Warriors-Timberwolves Game 2 is 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday and Minnesota is massive favorites to even the series.

Road โ€˜dogs are BARKING so far in the conference semifinals of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Not only have road teams covered the first five games of the conference semifinals, but theyโ€™ve all won outright, too. Four of these five games came down to the final seconds. So, the NBA is finally putting on a show after a brutal regular season. In my case, what's even better about this round is that I'm winning bets. I'm undefeated in the conference semifinals thus far and 11-3 in my last 14 NBA playoff games.
