An interesting theory

The Notwithstanding Clause is illegitimate. No law that uses it is legitimate. You can, should and MUST disobey any law which invokes the Notwithstanding Clause. The Notwithstanding Clause is an act of violence, and people are entitled to self-defence against violence.
