IntroductionPulmonary hypertension refers to a group of disorders characterised by abnormally high pressures in the pulmonary arteries caused by a diverse range of organ-specific to systemic disease states including left heart disease (LHD), COPD and scleroderma [1]. Irrespective of its cause, pulmonary hypertension is progressive and insidious in nature, often leading to delayed recognition and treatment [2].
