3.1 Asymmetric Propagation Speed in the Circle-Pacific Region Previous studies have reported that severe volcanic eruptions can induce atmospheric waves that cause small ionospheric fluctuations. To extract the co-volcanic ionospheric signals, the TEC time-series measured by GNSS receivers FTNA, CHTI, TIDB, PIMO, LTO1, and IQQE are processed using detrending and TEC rate strategies. The results are presented in Figure 3.
