Share LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — ABC 13 declares Monday a “Weather Alert Day. ” Storms worthy of Severe T-Storm Warnings (wind and hail threat) will develop and move across the ABC13 area on Monday afternoon. A few Tornado Warnings could be issued also, but I don’t see this as a pronounced tornado threat for us— the wind direction change with height is not ideal for tornadoes here, but can’t be ruled out either. (If surface wind was from SE, we would see much higher tornado threat.
