Source: John Lewis A cookery school and cafe from celebrity chef Jamie Oliver have made their debut in John Lewis’s Oxofrd Street flagship. The Jamie Oliver Cookery School and cafe opened on Thursday. The venture comprises two classrooms and a 50-seater cafe over 4,600 sq ft of the department store’s third floor.

Source: Walmart Retail goliath Walmart has unveiled its latest store of the future as it prepares for a raft of similar openings. The new branch in Cypress, Texas, is the retailer’s first new-build Supercenter in four years. It will be followed by another 150 shops, both new and conversions of existing stores, over the next several years a spart of Walmart’s modernisation programme.

Consumer confidence in Marks & Spencer dented by cyber attack By George MacDonald2025-05-02T11:26:00 The cyber attack on Marks & Spencer has knocked confidence in the famous retailer, but underlying trust remains strong. The proportion of consumers who say they would recommend Marks & Spencer to others has fallen from 87% to 73% since the start of the incident almost a fortnight ago, a poll of 500 respondents by research specialist Maru revealed.
