Lari police probe rising cases of robbery targeting churches

Police in the Lari sub-county in Kiambu are investigating cases of stealing that have seen several churches lose expensive equipment. Area DCI boss Nahum Muli noted that there have been concerns over incidents of stealing from several churches. Muli said that the Wandemi catholic church is the latest victim. Thugs broke into the house of prayer and went away with equipment, a case Muli said they are investigating.

Led by women, the residents alleged that some bars are back to operating before the stipulated time and they cover up their illegal operations by locking customers inside their business premises.
