Police in the Lari sub-county in Kiambu are investigating cases of stealing that have seen several churches lose expensive equipment. Area DCI boss Nahum Muli noted that there have been concerns over incidents of stealing from several churches. Muli said that the Wandemi catholic church is the latest victim. Thugs broke into the house of prayer and went away with equipment, a case Muli said they are investigating.

President William Ruto should first apologise to the country before calling for the talks, a Kiambu politician has said. Former Limuru MP Peter Mwathi said Ruto is the head of state and needs to show care and concern for the citizens.
