Formula One has returned for 2025 and it did not disappoint as Lando Norris held off Max Verstappen in the final laps to take the first win of the season. Norris was in the lead for the majority of the race, with Verstappen uncharasterically making a couple of mistakes and dropping back. Two safety cars in the second half of the race, after crashes from Fernando Alonso, Gabriel Bortoleto and Liam Lawson, gave Verstappen a way back in despite McLaren's superior pace.

Tottenham dispatched Dutch opponents, AZ Alkmaar, to progress to the Europa League quarter finals 3-2 on aggregate with an aggressive and bright performance. After a 1-0 away loss in the first leg, the home side wasted little time in levelling the tie with a superb finish from Wilson Odobert.
