Niantic has claimed that Pokemon Go will not undergoing any major changes after it was acquired by Saudi Arabia-owned Scopely back in March for $3.5 billion. According to IT Media and translated by Automaton, both Niantic and Scopely met in Japan and put out their first statement regarding the merger. "The direction of our game will not undergo any major changes under the influence of Scopely," a Niantic representative explained.

Papergames has revealed that Infinity Nikki will launch on Steam on April 29, and that it has surpassed 200,000 wishlists on the platform. To celebrate the release, all players will receive 10 Resonite Crystals and three Energy Crystals, as well as a live wallpaper and some concept art. They will be sent to the in-game mailbox after Infinity Nikki releases on Steam.

Publisher 2K and developer Hangar 13 have seemingly revealed that Mafia: The Old Country will launch on August 8 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. As spotted by Gematsu, 2K and Hangar 13 posted a Steam blog post detailing their plans for PAX East 2025. In this post, the release date was inadvertently announced. While it has now been removed from the post, Gematsu provided a screenshot of the blog post before the release date was scrubbed.

Katana Zero developer Askiisoft has revealed that its DLC is still in the works and is still free--even if it has been six years since the game's release. As a part of the Triple-I Initiative showcase, Askiisoft released a brand new gameplay trailer. While it's light on details, there seems to be something, or someone, involved called the Seventh Angel. Despite the DLC being free, fans are commenting that they'd happily pay for it since its development has taken so long.
