Fort Insurance has announced it is in advanced discussions to acquire YachtSafe Global LLC, a Florida-based insurance brokerage, in a move that will strengthen its presence in the United States. Following the acquisition, YachtSafe Global LLC will begin trading under the Fort Insurance name.
As part of the transition, Dylan Schwerdtfeger will assume the role of president of Fort Insurance USA, while John Gaffney will take on the position of chairman.
