The prosecution: Martha I like to keep Dad updated, but only for important things – and on my terms. I am 27!My dad and I disagree about whether he should follow me on the Find My Friends phone app, which lets you track people in real time. He used to, but when I went to university I removed him as a follower. I don’t think he needs to know where I am all the time. I’m 27 now, but it’s still a bone of contention.

The prosecution: Elodie The present was a caring gesture whether we liked it or not. Returning it was rude – Max should fess upI think my husband Max has committed a big social faux pas, but he disagrees. He returned a gift – a ceramic bowl – my sister Ruby bought us for our house-warming. Then I lied to her and said he smashed it by accident, and now I just feel bad about the whole thing. I think returning gifts, especially from family members, is ungracious, no matter how much you don’t like them.

As daybreak sifted through the early morning mist and birds chirped in a canopy above me, I sipped on some of the world’s most exclusive (and expensive) coffee at a coffee farm. It’s smooth, chocolatey and devoid of any bitterness. “It’s made from the Arabica bean which is lower in caffeine so you can have up to five cups a day without getting the jitters,” our guide told me. I’m not in Colombia, or Italy, but the Craighton Estate, in Jamaica’s tranquil Blue Mountains 90 minutes from Kingston.
