The number of people reaching the UK in small boats has risen by almost a third since Labour took office, FactCheck analysis of official statistics shows. Nearly 25,000 people reached UK shores after a perilous Channel crossing between Keir Starmer’s victory on 4 July and 6 February this year. That’s 28 per cent higher than the number who made the journey between the same dates twelve months earlier.

That’s according to FactCheck analysis of conflict data from the US non-profit ACLED. And we find these attacks resulted in thirty deaths in Lebanon for every one fatality in Israel. What is Hezbollah? Hezbollah is an Iran-backed military and political group based in Lebanon, which borders Israel.
