Jesus in EdenBy Gerald McDermottFIRST THINGSSept. 27, 2024At the end of his life, the American theologian Jonathan Edwards (1703--58) was working on a massive summa that would show the beauty of the Triune God afresh. Edwards's thesis was that the best way to see God's beauty is to trace the history of how he redeemed humanity--from just after the Fall through the Old and New Testament and Church history until the new Jerusalem.
